How are you? I hope you are doing well!

I want to tell you about my summer holidays and the beginning of the new school year.

My summer was very exciting! My mum and I went to the countryside to spend two weeks at my grandparents’ house. Unfortunately, my dad couldn’t go with us because he was busy at work. It was peaceful and beautiful in the countryside. I swam in the river, played with my cousins, and picked fresh fruits in the garden. We had a lot of fun together!

After my time at my grandparents’ house, I returned home and prepared for school. I bought new notebooks, pens, and a backpack. I was excited to see my friends again after the long break. I was a bit nervous on my first day of school because we had a new Maths teacher. She is very nice but gives a lot of homework! I find Maths a bit difficult this year. I am trying my best to understand the lessons, but sometimes it is hard. I study every evening, and I ask my friends for help when I do not understand something.

This month our school is preparing for a big event. We are having a talent show! Everyone can participate. My friends chose dancing and I decided to sing a song because singing is my hobby. I practice every day in my room. My friends helped me choose a song. They are very supportive and encourage me to do my best.

Many students are excited about the talent show. Some are dancing, others are playing instruments, and some are acting. I can’t wait to see all the performances! I hope the event will be fun and that everyone will enjoy it. I am looking forward to the talent show, but I am also a bit scared to perform in front of everyone. I hope I will do well!
